Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sitovai Agency (business ID / Y-tunnus 3638129-8, Finland), the data controller for ClipBoost AI, handles your personal data. Contact: hello@sitovai.com.

1. What we collect

• Account data — your email address and authentication details.
• Content you submit — uploaded videos or the links you provide, and the transcripts and clips generated from them.
• Usage data — jobs run, minutes processed, and basic technical logs.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe; we store your plan and subscription status, not your card number.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the service, process your videos into clips, manage billing, provide support, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service and billing), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, service improvement), and where required, your consent.

4. Processors we use

We share data only with service providers that help us run ClipBoost:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Railway — application hosting and video processing.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• AssemblyAI — audio transcription.
• Anthropic — AI analysis of transcripts (highlight and hook selection).
• Pexels — optional stock images for pop-up overlays.

When you submit a link (e.g. a YouTube URL), the source video is fetched for processing. You are responsible for your rights to that content.

5. Retention

Uploaded source videos are deleted after processing completes. Rendered clips are kept in your library until you delete them or close your account. Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as long as required for legal and accounting purposes.

6. International transfers

Some processors are located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the United States). Where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these, email hello@sitovai.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, isolated tenant data) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.

10. Children

ClipBoost is not intended for anyone under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country).

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Service.
